Children who get enough sleep perform better at home and school. A healthy sleep routine can assist them in developing good sleeping habits.
Here are some simple ways to develop healthy sleeping routines:
1. Aim for a good night’s sleep together
Make getting the recommended number of hours of sleep a fun goal for you and your child. Establishing a sleep routine in which you sleep and wake at the same time every day will assist you in accomplishing this. You can create a reward chart to track who is getting enough sleep in the family.
2. Be part of their bedtime routine
It all begins with you, the parents. When it's time for bed, invite your children to join you or let them choose the storybooks they want you to read to them. After that, you can tuck your kids into bed or cuddle with them.
